Steering Wheel

  1. Set front wheels in straight-ahead position. Remove horn button. See HORN BUTTON  in this article. Place reference mark on steering wheel and shaft for reassembly reference. Remove steering wheel nut or bolt and damper (if equipped).
  2. Using Steering Wheel Puller (T67L-3600-A), remove the steering wheel. To install, reverse removal procedure. Align reference marks. On nut type models, install a new retaining nut. Refer to the TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table in this article. Ensure damper is aligned with holes of steering wheel.
