NIPPONDENSO, 10P15A 10-CYL Shaft Seal: Installation

  1. Install seal and snap ring in front head. Install front head on compressor. Tighten bolts to 18-20 ft. lbs. (24-27 N.m). Add the same amount of new refrigerant oil to the compressor as that drained from compressor.
  2. Install manifold assembly and tighten bolts to 18-20 ft. lbs. (24-27 N.m). Install felt seal and retaining ring. To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure.
