NIPPONDENSO 10P15 & 10P15F, Shaft Seal: Removal

  1. Mount compressor in vise clamping on mounting ears. Remove compressor clutch plate. Clean compressor front hub area. Remove felt and retainer from inside compressor nose. Using Shaft Key Remover (T81P-19623-NH), remove shaft key.
  2. Using Snap Ring Remover (T71P-19703-T), remove seal seat snap ring. Clean inner bore of compressor nose. Using Seal Seat Remover/Installer (T87P-19623-B), remove seal seat.
  3. Using Shaft Seal Remover/Installer (T87P-19623-C), remove seal by pushing down on remover/installer and turning clockwise to engage seal tangs. Pull seal straight out.
