Rotor (4WD W/Manual Locking Hubs): Installation

  1. Pack wheel bearings with grease. Install inner wheel bearing and seal in rotor. Carefully install hub and rotor assembly on spindle.
  2. Install outer wheel bearing and inner locknut and adjust wheel bearings. See appropoate WHEEL BEARINGS under ADJUSTMENTS  . Install outer using Four-Prong Spindle Nut Spanner Wrench (T83T-1197-B). Tighten locknut to 150 ft. lbs. (203 N.m).
  3. Install locking hub. See MANUAL LOCKING HUBS  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Install caliper assembly. Install wheel and tire assembly and tighten wheel lug nuts to specifications.
