Master Cylinder (AEROSTAR): Installation

  1. Ensure interface seal is located in the annular groove in master cylinder body where body seals with booster.
    CAUTION: DO NOT assemble master cylinder to booster without the square section interface seal.
  2. Install master cylinder to booster using care not to scratch or otherwise damage exposed primary piston during handling. Ensure primary piston socket engages brake booster push rod before tightening. Tighten retaining nuts to 12-20 ft. lbs. (17-27 N.m). Connect wiring harness to fluid level indicator switch.
