Integral By-Pass Proportioning Valve (AEROSTAR)

The proportioning valve is integral to the recessed cartridge master cylinder assembly thus eliminating additional tubing and connection points. The valve incorporates proportioning, by-pass and differential pressure signal activation functions.

The proportioning portion reduces the pressure at rear wheels to avoid lockup. By-pass feature allows full application of rear brake pressure when front brake system pressure is significantly reduced. The differential pressure switch activation system will light the brake warning light if pressure in either the front or rear brake system is abnormal.
