Calibration Test (Bronco & "F" Series)

  1. Use 22 and 145-ohm resistors. Install 22-ohm resistor in circuit between gauge and ground. Repeat same procedure with 145-ohm resistor.
  2. The 22-ohm resistor should produce an empty reading while the 145-ohm resistor will cause gauge to read full. See appropriate chassis wiring diagram in the WIRING DIAGRAMS section.
