Removal & Installation

  1. Remove front wheels. Disconnect and plug brake hose from caliper. Mark caliper with right or left for installation reference.
  2. On Probe models, remove caliper attaching bolts. Pivot the caliper up, off brake pads and slide caliper off fixed guide pin. See Fig 1 . Mark anti-rattle clips to ensure installation to original position. Remove brake pads.
  3. On all other models, remove caliper locating pins. Remove caliper and disc pads from rotor.
  4. On all models, apply high temperature grease to guide pins and insulators. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Refill and bleed system.
