Rear Crankshaft Oil Seal: Removal

Remove transaxle. On manual transaxle models, remove clutch disc, pressure plate and flywheel. See appropriate article in CLUTCHES section. On automatic transaxle models, remove flexplate. See appropriate article in TRANSMISSION SERVICING section. Using an awl, punch a hole into metal surface of seal. Pry out seal.
