Removal & Installation

  1. On Cougar, Thunderbird and all FWD models, hub is not removed with rotor. Remove factory retaining clips (if equipped). Remove rotor-to-hub set screw (if equipped).
  2. On all other models, remove dust cap, cotter pin, lock nut, spindle nut, washer and outer bearing. Remove rotor and hub assembly.
  3. On all models, reverse removal procedure to install. Adjust wheel bearing as necessary. See appropiate FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS under ADJUSTMENTS  .
