Temperature Gauge Not Working

  1. Start engine and allow a 15-minute warm-up time. Shut engine off. Turn ignition switch to the "ON" position. Check temperature gauge and warning lights for proper operation.
  2. If warning lights do not come on and temperature gauge always reads cold, go to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FUSE CHECK NO. 3.
  3. If warning lights come on and temperature gauge always reads cold, go to the TEMPERATURE GAUGE CHECK  .
  4. If temperature gauge always reads hot, go to TEMPERATURE GAUGE SHORT CHECK NO. 1.
  5. If temperature gauge is not accurate, go to TEMPERATURE GAUGE TESTING.
