Seat Belt Warning Light Short Check No. 1

  1. Disconnect Central Processing Unit (CPU) 14-pin connector. CPU 14-pin connector is located at joint box, above interior fuse panel. See CPU 14-PIN TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION illustration.
  2. If seat belt light goes off, go to SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT SHORT CHECK NO. 2. If seat belt warning light does not go off, repair Brown/Black wire between gauges and CPU.
