Master Cylinder: Disassembly
- Remove reservoir cap and drain master cylinder reservoir. Carefully clamp master cylinder in a vise. Pry reservoir out of master cylinder seals. Remove master cylinder seals. Remove "O" ring. Push primary piston inward.
- Remove snap ring. Remove washer from end of primary piston (if equipped). Remove primary piston. Depress secondary piston. Remove stop bolt. See Figure . Remove secondary piston. Remove seals from primary and secondary pistons.
NOTE:
As master cylinder is reassembled, lubricate parts with brake fluid.
