Pedal Free Play & Height: Festiva

Move carpet and insulation out of way. Measure distance between brake pedal and sheet metal for pedal height. Distance should be 8.03-8.23" (204-209 mm). Bleed vacuum from power booster. Measure brake pedal free play. If free play is not .16-.28" (4-7 mm), adjust push rod. Start engine. Depress brake pedal with 132 lbs. (587 N) force. Brake pedal height should be 2.68" (68 mm) minimum.
