Fuel Gauge Sending Unit Test
NOTE:
Inspect fuel tank for distortion or damage. If distorted or damaged, repair or replace tank before further testing.
With sending unit removed from tank, connect an ohmmeter to tank sending unit. Check resistance values of sending unit with float in appropriate position. Replace sending unit if not to specification. If resistance is correct, ensure float is okay and will support float lever. See Fig 3 .
