Cylinder Head: Removal
- Remove lower intake manifold. Remove accessory drive belts. Remove accessories and bracket attached to cylinder head being removed. Remove valve cover. Loosen rocker arm bolts and pivot rocker arm off push rods.
- Mark push rods for later installation and remove. Remove air supply tube assembly from rear of cylinder head. Plug check valve (if equipped). Remove cylinder head bolts in reverse of tightening sequence. Remove cylinder head assembly and gasket.
