Proportioning Valve
Valve is an integral part of the master cylinder, it is fitted to the outlet port of the rear brake pipe. The valve recirculates hydraulic pressure to the rear brakes and reduces braking pressure at a ratio to the applied pressure. A by-pass feature allows full hydraulic pressure to the rear in the event of front brake system failure.
