Intake & Exhaust Manifolds: Installation

1. Position exhaust manifold on cylinder head with Exhaust Manifold Alignment Studs (T84P-6065-B) in holes No. 2 and 3. See Fig 2 . Install attaching bolts in remaining holes. Remove guide studs and install bolts. Tighten exhaust manifold bolts in 2 steps and sequence. See Fig 2 .
2. Coat new intake manifold gasket with sealer. Position intake manifold and gasket on cylinder head. Tighten bolts to specifications and in sequence. See Fig 1 . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all bolts/nuts to specifications.
