Cylinder Head: Inspection

Clean combustion chambers before disassembly of cylinder head. Clean gasket mating surfaces. Check cylinder head for warpage. Warpage limit is .003" (.08 mm) in any 6". Overall cylinder head warpage is less than .007" (.18 mm). Clean and tap cylinder head bolt holes in cylinder block.

NOTE: Cylinder head bolts on intake/exhaust side are longer than spark plug side of cylinder head.
