Removal & Installation: Camshaft: Installation

Coat camshaft lobes and journals with SAE 50 engine oil. Slide camshaft in through front of block. Install thrust plate. Ensure camshaft turns freely. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. To install push rods and rocker arm assemblies, see step 3) in INSTALLATION under CYLINDER HEAD  in this article. Tighten all bolts/nuts to specifications.
