Sender Unit Connector Pin Locations
Check the float before installing a fuel sender unit in the fuel tank. Ensure float rod is not bent and that the float is not badly distorted/damaged, hitting the filter, filled with fuel or loose on the float rod.
Check the fuel sender locating tabs. Ensure tabs are not bent, allowing the sender unit to rotate on the gasket surface as the locking ring is installed.
