No Graphic Display Vehicle Outline

  1. Turn ignition switch to "OFF" position. Disconnect electrical connector at back of graphic display module. Check resistance between connector terminal No. 2 and ground. See Figure . Check resistance between connector terminal No. 20 and ground. Resistance should be less than 20 ohms. If okay, go to next step. If not, repair open in circuit between connector and ground.
  2. Turn main light switch on. Rotate instrument panel rheostat to maximum brightness. Check voltage between connector terminals No. 2 and 3, and between terminals No. 10 and 12. Battery voltage should be present. If okay, replace display assembly. If not, repair open in instrument illumination circuit.
