Brake Pad Wear, Low Coolant & Washer Fluid Lights Do Not Illuminate
- Turn ignition to "RUN" position. If graphic displays illuminate during initial 5-second start, go to next step. If not, turn ignition to "OFF" position and check continuity of fuse No. 22. If continuity is present, go to next step. If not, repair short-to-ground in fuse No. 22 circuit.
- Turn ignition switch to "OFF" position. Disconnect auxiliary warning system module connector. See Figure . Turn ignition switch to "RUN" position. Measure voltage between terminal No. 17 and ground. Battery voltage should be present. If okay, go to next step. If not, repair open in circuit.
- Turn ignition switch to "OFF" position. Measure resistance between terminal No. 16 and ground. Resistance should be less than 20 ohms. If okay, go to next step. If not, repair open in circuit-to-ground.
- Connect jumper wire between terminals No. 17 and 18. Turn ignition to "RUN" position. Connect jumper wire between terminals in the COOLANT/WASHER/BRAKE PAD LIGHT CHECK table. If okay, replace module. If not, repair open in circuit for appropriate light.
