Oil Pressure Indicator: Tracer
- Turn ignition on (DO NOT start engine). Oil light should go off. If oil light stays illuminated, remove Yellow/Red wire from oil pressure switch connector.
- If light illuminates, repair Yellow/Red wire between oil indicator light and pressure switch. If light does not illuminate, check for possible low oil pressure or engine problems.
- If oil light will not illuminate, ground Yellow/Red wire at pressure switch connector. If light illuminates, replace oil pressure switch. If light does not illuminate, ground Yellow/Red wire at instrument cluster connector.
- If light illuminates, repair Yellow/Red wire between oil indicator light and pressure switch. If light does not illuminate, replace light bulb.
