No Fuel Computer Display When Ignition Is In "RUN" Position (Test A)
- Disengage harness connector from rear of fuel computer. Turn ignition switch to "RUN" position. Using a voltmeter, check for battery voltage at fuel computer terminal No. 9. See Figure . If okay, go to next step. If not, locate and repair open in fuel computer feed circuit.
- Using a voltmeter, connect positive lead to terminal No. 9 and negative lead to terminal No. 5 of fuel computer harness connector. Battery voltage should be present. If okay, go to next step. If not, locate and repair open in fuel computer ground circuit.
- Using voltmeter, connect positive lead to terminal No. 1 and negative lead to terminal No. 5 of fuel computer harness connector. Battery voltage should be present. If okay, replace fuel computer. If not, locate and repair open in fuel computer feed circuit.
