No Fuel Computer Display When Ignition Is In "RUN" Position (Test A)

Disengage harness connector from rear of fuel computer. Turn ignition switch to "RUN" position. Using a voltmeter, check for battery voltage at fuel computer terminal No. 9. See Figure . If okay, go to next step. If not, locate and repair open in fuel computer feed circuit.
Using a voltmeter, connect positive lead to terminal No. 9 and negative lead to terminal No. 5 of fuel computer harness connector. Battery voltage should be present. If okay, go to next step. If not, locate and repair open in fuel computer ground circuit.
Using voltmeter, connect positive lead to terminal No. 1 and negative lead to terminal No. 5 of fuel computer harness connector. Battery voltage should be present. If okay, replace fuel computer. If not, locate and repair open in fuel computer feed circuit.
