Merkur XR4Ti

  1. Turn ignition switch to "RUN" position. Indicator light should illuminate. If light does not illuminate, turn ignition off. Disconnect harness connector from "D" terminal at alternator. Ground wire against alternator housing.
  2. Turn ignition switch to "RUN" position. Indicator light should illuminate. If light does not illuminate, check bulb, wiring and printed circuit. If no problem is found, replace voltage regulator.
