Dual Piston Master Cylinder

All models are equipped with a tandem dual piston master cylinder with separate transparent fluid reservoir. On Aerostar, rear brakes are supplied from a single outlet on master cylinder. Left and right front brakes are supplied by separate outlets on master cylinder.

On Bronco II and Ranger, front brakes are supplied by primary outlet, rear brakes by secondary outlet. On all models, rear piston is operated by a push rod connected to brake pedal or booster. Front piston is operated by rear piston. Low fluid level indicator switch is incorporated in reservoir.
