Removal (Capri & Mustang 2.3L Turbo & 5.0L Engines)

Raise vehicle and support body at rear crossmember. Remove nuts attaching traction bar to axle and remove traction bar, adjusting shim(s), and "U" bolt. Remove cotter pin and washer. Remove rubber bumper, if necessary. See Figure.
