Speedometer Display Illumination Does Not Change With Dimming Control

  1. If electronic fuel gauge dims, and speedometer does not, proceed to step 2). If fuel gauge does not dim, service dimmer control circuit.
  2. Check flexible circuit and connections for breaks or damage. If okay, replace speedometer electronics. If not okay, service flexible circuit and connections.
