Fuel Sender
- Remove wiring connector at fuel tank sender. Connect ohmmeter across terminals at sender. Ohmmeter should read between 12-18 ohms at empty, and between 150-165 ohms at full tank.
- If the full resistance reading is below 150 or above 165 ohms, sender must be replaced. If the empty reading is below 12 or above 18 ohms, sender must be replaced. If results are okay, it is necessary to service wiring or fuel gauge.
