Speed Control Operates But Doesn't Accel or Coast Down Properly

1. Check Set-Acc., coast switch and slip-ring circuits, and ground brush contacts. If found satisfactory, proceed to step 2. If not found satisfactory, service or replace circuit.
2. Perform tests on actuator. If found satisfactory, proceed to step 3. If not found satisfactory, replace actuator.
3. Perform tests on amplifier. If found satisfactory, proceed to step 4. If not found satisfactory, replace amplifier.
4. Examine all connectors to ensure proper contacts.
