1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove knob and shaft assembly by depressing release button on switch housing and pulling straight out.
3. Remove bezel or mounting nut from switch, Fig. 4.
4. Disconnect electrical connector from switch and remove switch from vehicle.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
