Low Oil Level Indicator

This system consists of a float type sensor on the side of the engine oil pan, an electronic control module and an instrument panel warning lamp. If the oil level is approximately 1.5 quarts or more low, the lamp will come on and stay on.

After engine stops, the module will not reset for 90-150 seconds. This time delay allows for oil drainback. If the engine is restarted during this delay period, the light will display the last reading.
