Water Pump: Removal
- Drain cooling system. Remove fan shroud attaching bolts and place shroud over fan. Remove bolts that attach fan to water pump. Remove fan and shroud from vehicle.
- If equipped, loosen air conditioning compressor adjusting idler pulley and remove drive belt. Loosen power steering pump bolts and remove alternator and power steering pump belts.
- Remove water pump pulley. Remove heater hose from water pump. Remove timing belt cover. Remove lower radiator hose from water pump. Remove water pump attaching bolts and remove water pump from engine.
