Radius Arm: Removal
- Raise and support front of vehicle. Disconnect lower end of shock absorber from shock lower bracket. Remove front spring. Loosen axle pivot bolt.NOTE: Axle must be supported by jack during removal and installation procedure. If brake hose length does not permit adequate clearance, caliper must be removed from steering knuckle.
- Remove spring lower seat from radius arm and remove bolt and nut attaching radius arm to axle and front bracket.
- Remove nut, rear washer and insulator from rear side of radius arm rear bracket. Remove radius arm and remove inner insulator and retainer from radius arm stud. See Fig 1 .
