Bowl Vent Valve Adjustment
NOTE:
Idle speed must be properly set before performing this adjustment.
- Turn ignition switch on. Open throttle so that TSP plunger extends. Secure choke plate in wide open position. Open throttle so that throttle vent lever does not contact bowl vent rod.
- Close throttle to idle set position and measure travel of fuel bowl vent rod from idle to full throttle. See Fig 1, Dimension "A".
- Bowl vent rod travel should be .10-.15" (2.5-3.8 mm). If adjustment is required, bend throttle vent lever at point shown in Fig 1.
