Cylinder Head: Installation
- Position head gasket on engine block. Install cylinder head alignment studs into upper left and upper right cylinder head bolt holes in engine block.
- Position cylinder heads over alignment studs and onto engine block. Install cylinder head attaching bolts and remove alignment studs. Tighten all bolts in specified sequence. See Fig 1 .
- Reverse removal procedure to complete installation of remaining components.
