Removal & Installation: Camshaft: Installation

  1. Coat camshaft journals with heavy engine oil. Apply Lubriplate to camshaft lobes. Carefully install camshaft into engine block.
  2. Install camshaft thrust plate and tighten screws. Check camshaft end thrust. Reverse removal procedure to install remaining components.
