Instrument Cluster - Bronco & F Pickup

  1. Disconnect battery ground. Using a hook to release knob lock tab. Remove knob from wiper-washer, headlight, windshield wiper and fog lamp switch, if used.
  2. Remove steering column shroud. On automatic transmission vehicles remove loop on selector indicator cable assembly from retainer pin. Open cable retaining clips with a hook tool. Remove bracket screw from cable bracket. Slide bracket out of slot in tube.
  3. Remove cluster trim cover and 4 cluster attaching screws. Disconnect speedometer cable, wire connector from printed circuit and 4-wheel drive indicator light, if used. Remove instrument cluster. To install, reverse removal procedure.
