Centralizing Metering Valve

  1. On disc brake equipped vehicles, the metering section of the combination valve must be centralized after bleeding.
  2. To centralize the metering valve, turn ignition switch to ACC or ON position. Depress the brake pedal and the BRAKE warning lamp should go out if illuminated. The metering valve will self-center with this procedure.
  3. Turn ignition switch off.
