F-100, 250 & 350 (1968-72) U-100 (1968-74)
Disconnect horn and turn signal wires at connectors located behind instrument panel. Remove steering column wires and terminals from connectors using suitable tool. Record color code and location of each wire before removing from connector plug. Tape pull-through wire or cord to one of wire ends. Depress horn button or horn ring and rotate counterclockwise to remove, remove horn spring. Mark steering position on steering column, remove steering wheel attaching nut, remove steering wheel using suitable puller, remove spring from around end of steering shaft. Move turn signal switch lever counterclockwise to remove. Remove screws and retainer holding signal switch and wire assembly to steering column, and pull assembly from column. Disconnect pull-through wire or cord from end of switch.
