Wind Noise-Windshield
- Preform a visual inspection. Verify that body components are aligned and sealed. If component alignment or sealing is necessary, refer to the appropriate service information of this group for proper procedures. Carry out a road test, letting the vehicle gradually reach the speeds where the noise starts. If the wind noise persists, check that the windscreen has been correctly taped and also check whether the wind noise might be coming from the sunroof area.
- Tape the various areas illustrated in the diagram using bodywork gummed paper.
- Carry out a road test, letting the vehicle gradually reach the speeds where the noise starts: if the wind noise persists, check for sealant around windshield and body area.
- Remove the gummed paper from area (A) and repeat the road test: if the wind noise persists, locate the noise in the front door area. Refer to DTC TROUBLESHOOTING .
