Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the instrument panel center bezel to gain access to the switch pod screws (1). Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL, CENTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the three screws (1) from the switch pod (2).
  4. Remove the switch pod (2) from the vehicle.
