Doors - Rear: WATERSHIELD: Removal

NOTE:

Always replace the watershield, even if it was removed intact. The adhesive will not guaranty the necessary seal once it has been removed from the inner door.

Remove the door trim panel (1),
Refer to PANEL, REAR DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL .
Remove the rear door speaker. Refer to REAR DOOR

Carefully, detach the adhesive (1) of the watershield (2) from the entire perimeter of the inner door.

Disconnect the wiring routing retainers and route the harnesses (2) through the watershield (3).
Route the latch cable (1) through the watershield (3).
Remove the watershield (3) from the door.
