WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
The Electronic Drive Unit (EDU) consists of an Interior Permanent Magnet (IPM) AC synchronous motor, driven by the high-voltage battery through the Power Inverter Module (PIM), and a single-speed gearbox with an electric park lock motor.
The electric motor is a liquid cooled, 83 kW, 3-Phase high efficiency AC motor rated at 200 Nm (147 ft. lbs.) of torque.
The single-speed gearbox is connected to the electric motor, and transfers torque from the electric motor to the drive wheels. The gearbox consist of an input gear, main gear, main shaft, final gear, and parking pawl unit.
The park lock motor is mounted to the single-speed gearbox to lock the vehicle when placed in the park position.
