Is the DTC active at this time?

      Yes

      • Go To  2

      No

      • Test complete, the condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, check all related splices and connectors for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, pushed out or bent terminals, and correct pin tension.
  2. (B237) PEDAL TRAVEL SENSOR FEED CIRCUIT SHORTED TO VOLTAGE
    1. Disconnect the Regenerative Brake Controller (RBC) harness connector.
    2. Disconnect the Brake Pedal Travel Sensor harness connector.
    3. Turn the ignition on.
    4. Measure the voltage of the (B237) Pedal Travel Sensor Feed circuit at the XX harness connector.

Is the voltage above 5 volts?

      Yes

      • Repair the (B237) Pedal Travel Sensor Feed circuit for a short to voltage.

      No

      • Go To  3
  3. (B237) PEDAL TRAVEL SENSOR FEED CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND
    1. Turn the ignition off.
    2. Measure the resistance between the (B237) Pedal Travel Sensor Feed circuit and ground.

Is the resistance below 5.0 Ohms?

      Yes

      • Repair the (B237) Pedal Travel Sensor Feed circuit for a short to ground.
      • Perform the RBC VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to RBC VERIFICATION TEST .

      No

      • Go To  4
  4. (B237) PEDAL TRAVEL SENSOR FEED CIRCUIT OPEN OR HIGH RESISTANCE
    1. Measure the resistance of the (B237) Pedal Travel Sensor Feed circuit between the harness connector and the XX harness connector.

Is the resistance below 5 Ohms?

      Yes

      • Go To  5

      No

      • Repair the (B237) Pedal Travel Sensor Feed circuit for an open or high resistance.
      • Perform the RBC VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to RBC VERIFICATION TEST .
  5. REGENERATIVE BRAKE CONTROLLER (RBC)
    1. Replace the Brake Pedal Travel Sensor in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to UNIT, BRAKE OPERATING, REMOVAL .
    2. Perform the RBC VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to RBC VERIFICATION TEST .
    3. Test drive the vehicle between 15 and 35 km/h (9 and 22 mph).
    4. With the scan tool, read the DTCs.

      Does the DTC remain active?
