Unit, Headlamp: Removal: Lamp

NOTE:
The headlamp unit combines the low beam and high beam in a single headlamp unit.
WARNING:
On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, disconnecting the 12-volt battery negative cable alone will not power down the 12-volt system. You must perform the 12-volt Power Down procedure before proceeding. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury. Refer to 12-VOLT POWER DOWN .
- On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, power down the 12 volt system, Refer to 12-VOLT POWER DOWN .
- Disconnect the negative 12 volt battery cable.
- Remove the fascia from the front of the vehicle. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, REMOVAL .
- Remove the three screws (1) that secure the headlamp unit (2) to the front fender and the Front End Module (FEM) support structure.
- Pull the headlamp unit away from the front of the vehicle far enough to access the wiring connection on the back of the lamp housing.
- Disconnect the wire harness connector from the headlamp connector receptacle.
- Remove the headlamp unit from the vehicle.
