Lamp, Side Repeater: Removal: Lamp

WARNING:
On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, disconnecting the 12-volt battery negative cable alone will not power down the 12-volt system. You must perform the 12-volt Power Down procedure before proceeding. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury. Refer to 12-VOLT POWER DOWN .
- On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, power down the 12 volt system, Refer to 12-VOLT POWER DOWN .
- Disconnect the negative 12 volt battery cable.
- Using hand pressure, press one edge of the repeater lamp lens/housing (3) against the spring pressure of the latch feature (4), then pull the edge of the lamp outward far enough to disengage the fixed hook tab from the side of the fender (1) mounting hole.
- Pull the lamp out from the fender far enough to access the bulb socket (2) and wire harness on the back of the lamp lens/housing.
- Firmly grasp the bulb socket on the back of the lamp lens/housing and rotate it counterclockwise about 30 degrees to unlock it.
- Pull the socket and bulb straight out from the keyed opening in the housing.
