Lamp, Side Repeater: Removal: Bulb

WARNING:

On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, disconnecting the 12-volt battery negative cable alone will not power down the 12-volt system. You must perform the 12-volt Power Down procedure before proceeding. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury. Refer to 12-VOLT POWER DOWN .

  1. On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, power down the 12 volt system, Refer to 12-VOLT POWER DOWN .
  2. Disconnect the negative 12 volt battery cable.
  3. Remove the repeater lamp from the fender mounting hole. Refer to LAMP, SIDE REPEATER, REMOVAL .
  4. Firmly grasp the bulb socket (1) on the back of the lamp lens/housing and rotate it counterclockwise about 30 degrees to unlock it.
  5. Pull the socket and bulb (3) straight out from the keyed opening in the housing.
  6. Pull the base of the bulb straight out of the socket.
