Lamp, Side Repeater: Removal: Bulb

WARNING:
On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, disconnecting the 12-volt battery negative cable alone will not power down the 12-volt system. You must perform the 12-volt Power Down procedure before proceeding. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury. Refer to 12-VOLT POWER DOWN .
- On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, power down the 12 volt system, Refer to 12-VOLT POWER DOWN .
- Disconnect the negative 12 volt battery cable.
- Remove the repeater lamp from the fender mounting hole. Refer to LAMP, SIDE REPEATER, REMOVAL .
- Firmly grasp the bulb socket (1) on the back of the lamp lens/housing and rotate it counterclockwise about 30 degrees to unlock it.
- Pull the socket and bulb (3) straight out from the keyed opening in the housing.
- Pull the base of the bulb straight out of the socket.
