Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC 

1. With the scan tool, read Entertainment Telematic Module (ETM/LTM) DTCs and record on the repair order.
2. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
3. Start the engine and allow the engine to reach normal operating temperature.
4. If the vehicle has been in the hot sunlight or extreme cold, move the vehicle indoors and open the doors to allow the inside temperature to stabilize.
5. The Radio should operate between -23°C and 65°C (-10°F and 149°F).
6. With the scan tool, read ETM DTCs.

   Did the DTC return?

   Yes 

   • Turn the Entertainment Telematic Module (ETM/LTM) off and allow the unit to cool.
   • Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .

   No 

   • Test Complete.
